A prominent figure in the Quebec cultural landscape, for more than 30 years, winner of numerous awards from industry and the public, Sonia Benezra has taken various paths: from theater studies to song , through thousands of meet-ups and interviews.
Recipient of four “MétroStar” awards (public choice) including that of the “Television Personality of the Year” category, Sonia was thus the first Canadian, non-French-speaking, to receive this tribute. Also crowned by the industry, with three prestigious Gemini awards, highlighting her talent as a television personality and best interviewer, she was quickly awarded the honorable title of "The Oprah " of Quebec.
